Perfect for combat, martial arts clubs, corporate events or even stag dos, CCDS, in collaboration with Northern Ireland Survival school, Causeway Combatives, Trigger happy Airsoft and Causeway first aid training, are proud to bring you the very best in a combative survival course that you will want to repeat.
Undertaken by our team of highly experienced, professional and fully qualified instructors in each of their fields, we will guide and instruct you through a fun but intensive 3 days of practical and potentially life saving training in bushcraft, live firearms proficiency, Airsoft warfare, self defence in Krav Maga and other systems including combative groundwork.
Catering for up to 16 you will experience
- The safe handling and use of the Glock system.
- An Airsoft killhouse evening at Trigger happy activity centre where you shall be taught to work as a unit, urban warfare and room clearance by trained ex service personnel.
- A 2. nights stay at NI survival school base camp where you will be instructed in teamwork, shelter construction, fire making, trap building, hunting and tracking skills, archery and for the not so squeamish among you, how to prepare and cook prey. This and so much more to survive should the zombie apocalypse occur.
- Krav Maga and Tactical Edge Self Defence training. Everything from hand to hand combat to offensive and defensive weapons training in knife, stick/baton and firearms and well as ground combatives.
- Combat medic level triage training in how to deal with lacerations, breaks as well as the most common forms of injury in the wilderness.
- For the competitive of you we shall separate your group into teams and you will compete for the eternal bragging rights trophy.
Experienced Instructors in Survival and Self Defence
NI survival school
is the foremost and most professional bushcraft organisation in Northern Ireland, are on the books of various government councils and have planned and organised events for such survival experts as Bear Grills.
Foraging, outdoor cooking, tracking, trapping and trap making, modern and primitive fire lighting skills, water sourcing and purification methods, understanding and prevention of water based diseases, modern and primitive shelter construction, sharp tool making and carving skills, navigation using modern and natural indicators to name but a few of these guys skill sets.
Scott Magee and Ian Nichol, are our very own in house Contact Combative Defence Systems firearms instructors. Professional and fully qualified, Scott is a Krav Maga Instructor, an ex marine sharp shooter and unarmed self defence instructor who was in the armed forces shooting team, is an NRA firearms instructor and shooting coach at company level as well as a level 3 PT, running his own boot camps.
Ian is a Krav Maga Instructor, NRA member and our safety range conducting officer. A blue belt in BJJ and has over 20 years of combat systems and combative martial arts training in MMA, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling.
Trigger Happy Airsoft
is without doubt one of the funnest places you can spend time shooting you best friends in face.
An excellent urban warfare facility with helpful staff and an excellent array of Airsoft weaponry to choose from.
Myself (CCDS) and Peter McClay of Causeway Combatives
are fully qualified and accredited in Krav Maga, Drawpoint (knife fighting system)and the Tactical Edge close combat and weapons training system.
We have a vast amount of experience and instructorships in these as well as other self defence and combative systems.
Peter alone and among other accolades is a former emergency response team leader with tours in various hostile environments and a Ronon South African close protection officer.
A military control and restraint instructor.
A Krav Maga Instructor, a senior instructor in the Tactical Edge system and affiliated instructor with Team Ryano BJJ at purple belt level a black belt in Judo and Ironically after all that a level 3 conflict management trainer.
Peter also owns and runs Causeway First Aid and training
is an experienced first aid and emergency response team medic and remote medical assistant.
